When I visited my first German furniture factory back in the 80's, I thought the hotel had forgotten to give me sheets for the bed! It looked exactly like that comforter with the pillow on top.... The second night I didn't miss
the American tucked in sheets and haven't used them since. Looks strange, but works great. Your choice in either case.
